Facilities & Amenities
The common area facilities of Brannon Forest are beautiful, pleasant, and relaxing amenities available for the enjoyment of Brannon Forest residents.
Clubhouse
A mountain-style Clubhouse, complete with kitchen, grill, and expansive wrap-around porch with long-range mountain views, can be reserved by property owners for events and gatherings. Internet available. Make reservation here. Photo shows view from the Clubhouse porch. Please direct your guests to the Clubhouse at 56 Rockin' Chair Lane, Waynesville, 28785.
Tennis and Pickleball Court
Tennis court, across from Clubhouse on Rockin' Chair Lane, is lined for both tennis and pickleball games.
Playground
The Playground, including recreational equipment such as swings, slide and playhouse and a covered pavilion with picnic table, is available for children and families.
Community Garden
Raised garden beds are available for residents to use for vegetables, flowers and herbs. A water barrel helps collect and conserve water. Residents re-apply each spring for use of the plots.
Doc and Daisy
Doc and Daisy, our community donkeys, are often referred to as Brannon Forest's best advertisement. Cared for by community volunteers, donkeys have been part of Brannon Forest since it was first developed. You will often hear their welcoming brays as you walk by.
Additional amenities include:
Pond & Picnic Area
Pond, picnic pavilion, restroom, picnic tables, fire pit, and park-style BBQ grills, are available for neighbor and friends' gatherings. The picnic area is located along Cripple Creek Road.
Little Book Nook
Another volunteer project, the Little Book Nook is available from spring through fall at the Clubhouse. Neighbors share a wide variety of fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, and children books.
